The EASIEST Sourdough Loaf Recipe

Literally the EASIEST sourdough loaf.

Morning feed around 7:30–8am

What I do:

• After feed. Let starter rise in the oven (light on, door closed) → about 2 hours (watching to make sure it doesn’t spill over) you can also just leave it on the counter but I like to speed up the process.

• Mix EVERYTHING together (no fancy order)

Ingredients:

• 150g starter

• 450g bread flour

• 300g warm water

• 10g salt

Mix with a spoon (or your hands), until combined.

Cover + let it sit on the counter for 8 hours.

Do 1 stretch & fold (that’s it).

Shape it a bit so it looks happier

Let it rest 1 hour in my COLD Dutch oven.

Add some flour to the top and Score it.

🔥 Bake at 475° for 42 minutes (covered)

Done. One day. No multiple stretch & folds, no refrigeration.

Perfectly imperfect sourdough every time.
